Leasing Activity refers to new bonds lodged during the quarter.
The broader rental market data is sourced from RTA bond data, which is subject to release delays. Jan–Mar data releases in April, Apr–Jun in July, Jul–Sep in October, and Oct–Dec in January.
House and Apartment median rent figures use a weighted median method. RTA rent figures are combined by dwelling type and weighted by new bonds lodged for the same quarter, so dwelling types with more leasing activity have more influence on the House or Apartment figure.
